Traditional Cheesecake

Ingredients
  • 1 3/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 3 pkgs (8 oz.) softened cream cheese
  • 1 1/3 cups (14 oz. can) sweetened condensed milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 TBSP lemon juice
  • 1 TBSP grated lemon rind
  • 1 carton (8 oz.) sour cream
  • fruit topping or fruit pie filling, optional for garnish

Steps
  1. Combine graham cracker crumbs and sugar; stir in butter. Press on bottom and 2 inches up side of 9-inch springform pan.
  2. Beat cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk in large mixer bowl.
  3. Beat in eggs, flour, lemon juice, and rind. Pour into crumb-lined pan.
  4. Bake at 350° for 50 minutes. Spread with sour cream.
  5. Cook an additional 10 minutes or until set. Cool in pan.
  6. Garnish with your favorite fruit topping when serving.
