Snickerdoodles

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup butter or margarine
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon

Steps
  1. Cream together sugar, butter, and eggs.
  2. In another bowl, stir together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add to creamed mixture.
  4. Shape into 1 inch balls. In small bowl, mix together 1/4 cup sugar and the cinnamon mixture.
  5. Place 2" apart on greased baking sheet.
  6. Bake 400° for 8-10 minutes.
  7. Don't overcook.
