Seven Minute English Toffee

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 pkg. chocolate chips

Steps
  1. Sprinkle nuts on bottom of well buttered 8" square pan.
  2. Boil butter and brown sugar together for 7 minutes.
  3. After it comes to a good boil, stir constantly, spread over nuts, then sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
  4. Cover with foil in order to melt chocolate chips.
  5. Let cool. Break into pieces.
