Rum Balls

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 lb vanilla wafers
  • 1 cup nuts
  • 2 TBSP cocoa
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup rum
  • powdered sugar

Steps
  1. Crush wafers (1 1/2 cups). Mix with chopped nuts, cocoa, syrup and rum, making a firm paste.
  2. Form in ball with sugar. Set aside an hour to dry - then roll in sugar.
  3. Store in air tight container several hours. Serve.
  4. Makes 30 balls.
