Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sifted flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup boiling water
Steps
- Melt butter in boiling water. Add flour and salt all at once and stir up good.
- Cook and tir until it form a ball that doesn't separate. Remove from heat. Cool slightly.
- Add 1 egg at a time. Beating after each egg until smooth. Beat with spoon.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls 2" apart on a greased cookie sheet.
- Bake 425° for 15 minutes and then 325° for 15 minutes.
- Remove from oven - split or cut in half. Turn oven off and put puffs back in oven to dry - 15-20 minutes.
