Ingredients
- 1 cup crushed pineapple (9 oz. can) - drained
- 2 cups sifted flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 cube butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup baking sugar - packed
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- 1/4 tsp soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 large egg
Steps
- Drain pineapple. Sift flour, measure, and sift again with soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Place butte rin a bowl and cream ubntil soft. Add sugars gradually to creamed mixture.
- Continue creaming; add well beaten egg. Mix well. Add dry ingredients in 3 portions, beat.
- Stir in pineapple, vanilla, and nuts.
- Drop on greased cookie sheet.
- Bake 350° for 12-15 minutes until lightly brown.
