Peanut Butter Cookies

375° - 10-12 minutes
Ingredients
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup shortening
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 3 eggs (beaten)
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp soda

Steps
  1. Cream peanut butter and shortening. Add sugar, egg, and vanilla.
  2. Then add dry ingredients and chill dough. Roll into balls and press down with fork.
  3. Bake 375° to 400° for 10 to 12 minutes.
Tips
Dip tines of fork in water and it won't stick to the cookie dough.
