Ingredients
  • 1 box (1 lb.) powdered sugar
  • 1 egg - beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • butter (size of walnut)
  • peanut butter
1x
Steps
  1. Beat egg with fork, add vanilla and butter.
  2. Mix powdered sugar into it. Knead as with pie dough until well mixed.
  3. Roll out onto the counter covered with powdered sugar so it doesn't stick. Roll to about ¼” thick. Spread peanut butter over top.
  4. Roll like jelly-roll; you may use a knife to loosen it from the powdered counter if it sticks.
  5. Make it longer as you shape (may need to cut it in half to be more manageable. Continue shaping into a "snake" by flattening the top and using both hands to press sides.
  6. Stop once 1 inch thick and 1 inch tall. Slice into 1" pieces.
  7. Place in refrigerator to set up and serve.
  8. This recipe passed down from my mother to mother.
