Orange Jelly Centers

Ingredients
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 TBSP frozen orange juice (not diluted)
  • 2 TBSP lemon juice
  • 2 TBSP unflavored gelatin
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 1 tsp lemon extract
  • 1 tsp orange extract
  • 8 drops orange food coloring

Steps
  1. Soften gelatin in cold water. Combine sugar and hot water. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Then, bring to a boil and add gelatin.
  2. Cook slowly for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients.
  3. Pour into pan rinsed in cold water.
  4. Allow to stand overnight.
  5. (Best if made day before dipping. If too sticky to dip, rub with powdered sugar, lightly).
