Ingredients
- 1 lb powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 1 stick butter
- 1/4 cup whole milk or half and half
- 1 TBSP vanilla
- nuts, if desired (macademian, walnuts, pecans, etc.)
Steps
- Sift powdered sugar and cocoa into large microwaveable bowl.
- Place butter on mountain of sugar/cocoa mixture and pour milk or half and half over butter.
- Microwave for 2 - 2 1/2 minutes (almost melt butter).
- Pull out immediately and stir vigorously to get out all lumps.
- While stirring, pour in vanilla. Can add nuts, if desired.
- When it begins to thicken and all lumps are gone, pour fudge into baking tin (approx. 8x8") and flatten into corners.
- Put into freezer for one hour and then move to fridge until cutting or for a few hours.
