Ginger Snaps

Ingredients
  • 2 cups shortening
  • 1 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sour milk
  • 1 1/2 cup molasses
  • 2 tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp baking soda

Steps
  1. Cream shortening.
  2. Mix together; add enough flour to make dough easy enough to roll out.
  3. Can cut into shapes or roll fough into small balls. Dip in sugar or sugar called "sugar crystals," it is corser sugar.
  4. Place on greased cookie sheet with sugar side up.
  5. Bake 350° for 10 minutes.
