Ingredients
- 1 cup chopped dates
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1 egg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cups walnuts (chopped)
- 2 cups rice krispies
- nuts or cococnut
Steps
- Combine all ingredients.
- Cook until thick, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
- Cool slightly.
- Add vanilla, nuts, and rice krispies.
- Blend well - roll into balls and roll in nuts or coconut.
