Favorite Fudge

Ingredients
  • 1 square semi-sweet chocoalte
  • 1 cup cold wanter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 TBSP butter
  • vanilla

Steps
  1. Melt chocolate and water together in pan.
  2. Add in sugar and butter. Cook until soft ball stage.
  3. Pour into buttered square pan or onto marble slab.
  4. Let cool until lightly warm.
  5. Beat with spoon; add vanilla and beat.
  6. Mold into bite size pieces.
  7. Once you start to stir, you need to work fast, as the candy sets up quickly.
  8. To mold: shape in hands into roll. Can roll in tinfoil and refridgerate in fridge. Cut into pieces. If desired, can roll in nuts.
Tips
Do NOT use margarine or it will crystalize
