Corn Bread

Ingredients
  • 2 cups white cornmeal (course ground)
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • milk
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt

Steps
  1. Combine all dry ingredients. Then add egg and enough milk to make a thin batter. Pour in hot, well greased bread pans or corn stick pans.
  2. Bake 350° until brown.
Tips
Good with honey and butter and side of beans!
