Cinnamon Rolls

Serves:
3 dozen
Ingredients
2 cups milk
2/3 cup sugar
3/4 cup butter
1 tsp salt
3 eggs (beaten)
1 tsp vanilla
6 1/2 cups flour
3 yeast cakes (or 3 packets dry yeast)
For topping:
2 cups sugar
cinnamon
nuts
raisins

Steps
Soften yeast cakes in 3/4 cup warm water or bloom dry yeast.
Scald milk, sugar, butter, and salt. Cool to room temperature.
Add eggs, yeast, vanilla, and flour. Stir but do not knead.
Roll out 1/4 inch thick. Cover with melted butter, sugar, cinnamon, nuts, and raisins.
Roll as jelly roll and cut into 1/2 inch thick pieces. Place on cookie sheet.
Let rise until double.
Frost with icing and sprinkle with nuts.
Tips
I cut dough in half before rolling out
