Cherry Pineapple Cake

Ingredients
  • 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple in juice (do not drain)
  • 1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 (7 oz.) bag coconut, shredded
  • 1 cup macadamia nuts, chopped

Steps
  1. Preheat oven. Lightly grease 9x13 pan.
  2. Layer crushed pineapple, then pie filling. Sprinkle dry cake mix over the top, smoothing evenly and covering the top.
  3. Pour melted butter on top, covering evenly. Finish with coconut and nuts.
  4. Bake for 50-60 minutes until brown on top and bubbly.
  5. Let cool 30 minutes. Serve warm or cooled.
