Cashew Cookies

3 dozen
Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar (packed)
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
3/4 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/3 cup sour cream
1/2 cup crushed cashews (or more to taste)

Steps
Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and vanilla. Blend smooth.
Sift dry ingredeints together. Add alternately with sour cream.
Fold in cashew nuts. Drop by small teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet about 1 1/2" to 2" apart.
Bake 325° - 350° for 10 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
Cool; frost with "Golden Butter Icing"
Bakes 3 dozen cookies.
