Caramel Brownies

Ingredients
1 pkg German chocolate cake mix
1/3 cup evaporated milk
50 Kraft Caramels
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1 pkg (12 oz.) milk chocolate chips
nuts (optional)

Steps
Mix cake mix and 1/3 cup evaporated milk together.
Put half of the mixture into bottom of cake pan.
Bake for 6 minutes at 350°.
Melt caramels in 1/2 cup evaporated milk over low heat.
Put on top of cake mix.
Add chocolate chips to remainder of cake mix, plus nuts, and place on top of caramel mixture.
Bake 325°-350° for 15-18 minutes
