Cajun Cake

Ingredients
Cake:
1/2 stick butter (melted)
2 eggs
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 cups flour
2 tsp soda
1 (16 oz.) can crushed pineapple (not drained)
Topping:
1 1/2 sticks butter
1 cup sugar
1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk
1 cup angel flake coconut
1 cup chopped nuts

Steps
Sift together flour and soda. Combine all ingredients together.
Pour into greased 9x13 pan. Bake 30 minutes at 350°.
For topping, combine butter, sugar and milk in saucepan. Stir until boiling. Boil 1 minute.
Add coconut and nuts. Pour over hot cake.
Cut cake into squares
Tips
For juicer cake, can use more evaporated milk (up to 20 oz. total)
