Mix bisquick and sugar well. Add butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla. Mix and beat well.
Pour into greased and floured cake pan. Bake 350° for 30 minutes.
When cool, frost with whipped whipping cream.
I usually have sliced bananas in between the layers with maraschino cherries cut into the shapes of flowers on top and on sides.
This is an icebox cake and it is better the 2nd day after refrigerating. I always make this for Valentine's Day.
You can also make 1 layer for an upside-down cake. Place 1 TBSP butter in bottom of pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar, place fruit on top and then pour batter over.
For 1 layer: 1 1/3 cup bisquick, 3/4 cup sugar, 3 TBSP margarine, milk, 1 egg, 1 tsp. vanilla
