Best Cream Puffs

Ingredients
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup flour

Steps
  1. Heat butter and water to boiling point.
  2. Add flour all at once stirring vigorously until mixture leaves sides of pan and clings to spoon.
  3. Remove from heat and cool slightly.
  4. Add unbeatened eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition.
  5. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet about 1" apart.
  6. Bake 400° for 14 minutes for large ones and 275° for 10 minutes for small ones.
