Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups thick unsweetened applesauce
- 4 cups sugar
- 4 pkgs. (4 TBSP.) unflavored gelatin
- 1 cup nuts - chopped
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Steps
- Mix 1 cup of applesauce with gelatin and allow to stand 10 minutes.
- Add rest of applesauce and sugar. Mix well.
- Boil 20 minute; stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
- Add nuts and vanilla.
- Pour into 9x9" pans lined with foil. Let cool until firm.
- Cut into squares and sprinkle with powdered sugar or roll in sugar
