Ingredients
- 2 TBSP. gelatin
- 1/2 cup cold applesauce
- 3/4 cup applesauce
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup nuts - chopped
- 1 tsp vanilla
Steps
- Soak gelatin in 1/2 cup cold applesauce for 10 minutes.
- Combine remaining ingredients (applesauce and sugar). Boil for 10 minutes.
- Add gelatin mixture and boil 15 minutes. Longer, stirring constantly. Take off heat.
- Add nuts and vanilla and pour into lightly buttered pan.
- Set overnight.
- Cut into squares. Roll in powdered sugar.
